Role Description

​

This is a full-time, on-site, position for a Project Architect and Job Captain at Kirk Moeller Architects, Inc. in Carlsbad, California. The Project Architect and Job Captain will oversee and manage architectural projects from inception to completion, coordinate with clients and with city jurisdictions, collaborate with internal team and project consultants, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

​

• Minimum of 7 years experience with project management in the architecture and design industry

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively

• Strong knowledge of architectural processes and California building code regulations

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.

• Experience in specific architectural detail preparation

• Experience in commercial and residential architecture
